依然美到落泪 今天读完了戴乃迭女士翻译的《边城》，再一次为沈从文笔下秀美宁静的湘西感动，命运的无常坎坷，未能说出的爱，以及大大小小的遗憾，都让最后的结局显得更加可贵。 和之前读中文版不同的是，戴乃迭的译文充满了巧思，比如翠翠的名字来自于附近满山glorious emerald green的翠竹，nature is her mother and teacher，太美了。她“笑笑没有说话”翻译成She said nothing but dimpled.（她没有说话，但是酒窝露了出来）真是可爱。还有大佬的激情告白I want to eat my cake and have it. 太霸气[笑哭R]两兄弟在江湖上闯荡Knives are indispensable in these parts for dealing with enemies or for swearing friendship.
