iPhone Duo introduces a folding format built around two displays with the same aspect ratio, allowing content to scale consistently as the device moves between open and closed states. A 5.4-inch outer display handles more compact, one-handed use, while opening the device reveals a 7.6-inch inner display designed for multitasking, media and larger-format interaction.
The hardware centres on a precision hinge made from more than 100 components, alongside a grade 5 titanium enclosure and layered display construction designed to manage the repeated stresses of folding. iOS 27 has also been adapted around the new form, with interfaces, multitasking and content responding dynamically as the device opens, closes and changes orientation.
