Journey for TruthFrom the very beginning, the renovation project of Kashgar Ancient City has been positioned as heritage-conservation restoration and people’s livelihood-oriented transformation. Adhering strictly to the principle of "restoring old buildings to their original look, building new structures in the traditional style, and customizing designs for each household", the project has fully preserved the millennia-old earthen dwellings, labyrinthine alley layout, carved wooden doors and windows, and other traditional architectural features of the Western Regions.
