"Arbitration agreement" is an agreement by the parties to submit to arbitration all or certain disputes which have arisen or which may arise between them in respect of a defined legal relationship, whether contractual or not. An arbitration agreement may be in the form of an arbitration clause in a contract or in the form of a separate agreement. The parties are free to determine the number of arbitrators.Failing such determination, the number of arbitrators shall be three. “仲裁协议”是指当事各方同意将在他们之间确定的不论是契约性或非契约性的法律关系上已经发生或可以发生的一切或某些争议提交仲裁的协议。仲裁协议可以采取合同中的仲裁条款形式或单独的协议形式。 当事各方可以自由确定仲裁员的人数。如未作此确定，则仲裁员的人数应为三名。
