⚠️外网对各种运动赛事报道中，经常会用到一个小词，叫做“upset”，形容词性的意思是“沮丧的”，作为动词时可以是“意外击败对手”，或者名词意思“爆冷门”。
🌰比如：
China's Zheng Qinwen upsets top seed Iga Swiatek in Paris tennis semifinals.
在巴黎奥运会网球半决赛中，中国选手郑钦文击败头号种子选手伊加·斯维亚特克。
再比如前几天中国男子游泳队打破美国队垄断，拿下男子4×100米混合泳接力赛金牌，也可以用upset来表达。
🤔那sleeper什么意思呢？
Sleeper除了“睡眠者、卧铺、枕木、儿童连体睡衣”之外，也有“爆冷门”的意思，指人、产品、电影、音乐、戏剧或著作等在很长一段时间不成功，但突然爆红。
🌰比如：
The movie was a sleeper hit, surprising everyone with its success.
这部电影意外大卖，令所有人都感到惊讶。
That small startup company turned out to be a sleeper in the tech industry.
那家小创业公司最终成为了科技行业的黑马。
除了upset，sleeper之外，还有如下表达也可以指“在不利或者劣势的情况下，仍然获得成功”：
