Starting from November 20, 2025, foreigners planning to enter China will be able to report their entry information online via various channels.

从2025年11月20日起，计划入境中国的外国人可以通过多种渠道在线报告其入境信息。

These include the official website of the National Immigration Administration, government service platforms, the "Immigration Bureau 12367" app, WeChat (Alipay) mini-programs, and by scanning the entry card QR code through mobile devices.

这些渠道包括国家移民管理局官方网站、政务服务平台、“移民局12367”应用程序、微信（支付宝）小程序，以及通过移动设备扫描入境卡二维码。

For foreigners who are unable to fill out the entry information online, they can use their mobile phones to scan a QR code or utilize on-site smart devices to report their entry information upon arrival at Chinese ports of entry and exit. Alternatively, they may complete a paper entry card for foreigners.

对于无法在线填写入境信息的外国人，他们可以在抵达中国出入境口岸时，使用手机扫描二维码或利用现场智能设备报告其入境信息。或者，他们也可以填写纸质外国人入境卡。

However, the following seven categories of foreigners are exempt from this requirement:

1.Holders of the People’s Republic of China Foreign Permanent Residence ID card.

2.Holders of the Hong Kong and Macau Residents’ Pass (non-Chinese nationals).

3.Holders of group visas or those eligible for group visa exemptions.

4.Transit passengers who stay within the restricted area of the port for less than 24 hours.
