A public auction of distinctive vehicle licence plates and mobile phone numbers in Dubai has raised more than Dh53 million.

An online auction for 555 number plates by Abu Dhabi Police will take place on April 17 and 18 and on April 20 another event will be auctioning numbers 2, 11 and 20 from code 2 and plate number 99 from code 1 at Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace hotel.
