根据市场消息，苹果新芯片组将比M4更强大，而苹果称M4是所有芯片组中速度最快的神经引擎。

苹果最新11英寸和13英寸iPad Pro搭载M4芯片，苹果称这是历来最快的神经网络引擎，可支持最快达每秒38兆次运算，比如今任何AI PC的神经处理单元都还要快速。根据网友 @MappleGold在X平台的说法，苹果计划使A18更上一层楼。

@MappleGold指出，A18神经引擎太强大，甚至比M4中的还强大，但是像A15仿生这样强大但非常高效的品牌芯片不在A18中，可能会在A19或A20，具体取决于台积电2纳米准备就绪。

外媒WCCFtech报道称，A18和A18 Pro将采台积电N3E制程。此外，苹果可能在A18营销方式上采取不同的方向，可能不会采用“功能强大”和“非常高效”这种说法。但过去有消息传出，A18和A18 Pro可能采用更大的芯片尺寸，以适应更大的神经引擎。
